2023 ESSAY COMPETITION !!


 

The Antigua Flight Training Center Inc. is offering the winner of a 1000 word essay the cost of the Private Pilot License Course free. The Competition is open to persons who are legal residents of, or citizens of any OECS Caribbean island, and is also open to persons who are legal residents of, or citizens of Anguilla, Barbados, Montserrat, Tortola, Trinidad and Tobago,  Guyana and Belize.

Eligibility:

  • Male or Female ages 17 to 30 years by January 1st, 2023.
  • The winner must have completed and passed 5 CXC (GSCE) Ordinary Level exams including Mathematics and English Language.
  • The winner must be available to start classes by January 8 2024. 
  • The winner must have a valid Aircrew Medical Certificate Class 2. (An Aircrew Medical Certificate Class 2 from your country of residence is also acceptable.)
  • The winner must have a Police Certificate of Character.

Students enrolled at Antigua Flight Training Center, Inc. are not eligible. 

Prize:  The prize for flight training is valued up to US$13,250. No cash will be disbursed. The prize does not include any transportation to Antigua, Room & Board, Aircrew Medical Exam or Written and Practical Exams. The prize does not guarantee any License.

  • Essay must be printed (not hand written) on letter size paper.
  • Included must be Copy of the Aircrew Medical Class 2, Passport size photo and Name, Address & Telephone Number.
  • Included must be copies of 5 CXC Ordinary Level examination passes (including Maths and English) or the equivalent of.
  • Included must be evidence of citizenship or residency of your country.
  • Essays that are emailed are not acceptable. 
  • Essays received after competition closes are not acceptable.

COMPETITION ENDS DECEMBER 15, 2023

WINNER WILL BE AWARDED BY DECEMBER 30, 2023.
